Locavores and Frankenfood????

I can not believe how much food has to travel to get to the stores near us. This activity was really surprising for me, I didnt know that the food that we love and that we need has to travel from so many places in the world.

I am really scared, I really dont want to stay without food. Food is a need we need it to survive, we cannot live without food we can die. =[

Last time that I went to the super market I noticed that all the prices of the fruit have increased. I was really surprise to see that a mango was .99cents for only one.

I know that Locasvores are the stores that are local, there we can find some stuff that are grown naturally. Frankenfood is the food that has chemicals on them.

Canceled Flights? Gas Station Outages? What's NEXT??? =[

There are many economic problems now that there are cancelled flights. The biggest problem is that if the airlines cancel the flights then they will not be getting as much money as when all the flights were not cancelled. A social problem would be that if the person that had to flight to where they had an important business to take care of and their flight was cancelled that person may now have a bad reputation because he they didnt get to where they were supposed to be.


Now if the gas station didnt have any more gas the people that need gas for their car will be so mad specially my dad. My dad really depends on gas because he has to drive to Long Beach everyday so he can get to work.
I would not like to run out gas because that is what gets us around. I just dont want to lose my car but I am willing to give it up and change to the metro, changing for the metro would be so different now to get to work I would have to wake up earlier because I would need to catch the metro to be in time. . I mean that would be the only way out. Oh NOOOO!!!! I so dont like that idea but I am willing to work with it.



I know for a fact that all of us are worried about losing our food and other stuff that we need on a daily basis. And if unemployment rate continues to increase there will be serious problems that I reallly dont want to imagine because it just scares me to think about it. =/

Oil Shortage!!!

Today I watched a news report about petroleum and I learned that there are alot of things that are made up of oil or have oil in them. I have learned that oil is mostly used for gas. I have also learned that candles also have petrolium on them.

What I found most surprising was that medicine is also made out of oil. =0 Another thing that was surprising was that baby bottles and babies toys also have oil on them.

Supply and Demand

Supply is the amount of things and services that producers want to sell for different prices during some time.
Demand is the things that buyers want to buy and have the money to buy.
Something that was so surprising about the quiz was that most of the questions there I did not know the answers to them.

Life Without Shampoo? Oh No!! =0

I just cant imagine my life without shampoo. Shampoo is really necessary for our hair and if we dont have soap we can use the shampoo to shower and to be clean. I would nlot like to not have shampoo that will be not a good thing.
